Over the past few years I have become more and more aware of there being something missing in our drive to be more eco friendly. Have we gone so far away from our dependence on nature herself that we are willing to destroy our brothers and sisters in the name of progress. I I do not believe that this is the end of civilisation as we know it but a warning that our lives are about to become difficult and more complicated! I am a traditional healer and in my training to become a traditional healer and integrate myself back into the world, it is a requirement to discover the light of the trees in a ceremony which is the third step of qualification. Since doing this ceremony and working with what this gateway opened, I have witnessed the incredible healing network trees have to offer. They are social like we are and they have a deep compassion and a wisdom of the world that seems bottomless. There is a sense of community and trees have been known to look after the sick! During my ceremony I was shown just how connected they are. From where I was I could see all around me for miles as if I was part of and connected to the trees. Each root connecting to the next. The Mycelium network acting as a bridge. I could see in 3D. So there was a sense of feeling and taste and smell all bound up in the sight. There was a sense of instantly feeling another tree close by and understanding its needs. I do not believe I am unique. I am sure that the tree people are more than willing to share their world view to those who wish to learn.

We are all connected through an intricate network of roots. Humans are trees that have forgotten their roots... No wonder we have division and violence!

So what does this have to do with healing and well being. Well the message that the standing people wish to convey is that we have forgotten our roots. We are all connected through an intricate network of roots. humans are trees that have forgotten their roots. We have disconnected ourselves from the earth and we have lost contact with that deep resonating pulse buried deep in the heart of the earth. No wonder we have division and violence! It is my understanding that although we have forgotten and turned our backs on the inner mysteries of nature, There is a small bud blooming in the huge rotten trunk where hopefully after and age of patience and nurturing a new beautiful tree of life will emerge more beautiful and bold than ever before! It is my hope that humanity rediscovers where we truly belong. A child of nature playing in the long forgotten garden of Eden.
